Sugarbush Golf Club

About the Course

Measuring 7,326 yards, the Sugarbush golf course is a classical but challenging one. It offers a thrilling and unique experience each and every time you play. The blend of holes at Sugarbush are tree-lined with contoured fairways. Some of the chutes are tighter than others, including hole 13, which is cut right out of the woods. Water comes into play on several holes, but never overwhelming. No matter your ability, Sugarbush has a different challenge for everyone with its four sets of tees and variety of course setups.

01

Let It Fly

Hug the left corner of this dog leg. Uphill against prevailing wind makes it play longer than it looks. Just the beginning of a journey of illusions and challenges amid nature’s handiwork.

02

Double Carry

The trouble is all in front, but drive it onto the plateau and there will be no surprises.

Second Thoughts

Borrow what you dare for your second shot, but don’t be greedy & pay the price.

Sleepers

Two hidden surprises belie innocence in appearance. Looks are deceiving so try not to stray left or right.

05

Quarry

A well-struck drive will easily carry the water. The slightly sloped green requires a lofted approach.

06

Designer’s Deception

His shortest par four, but certainly not easy by any means. Trouble is left & front, so use good course management.

Cattails

Plays a little shorter than it looks. The presence of the pond on the right may “trap you” on the left.

Scottish Touch

If you have never been to Scotland, you hope this is what you have missed! Elevated green makes approach play longer.

Big “S”

A raised tee and “downwind breather” to prepare you for a great back nine test.

Chute

Thread the needle & it’s a fader’s delight. An elevated green and swale in front make target appear closer.

Eternity

The horseshoe tee box is for good luck! A straight forward beauty, requiring two of your best.

Sugarbush

This beautiful specimen frames the left side of the green. Escaping the wetlands at the outset is only half of this hole’s challenge.

Long John

Mystery

Why does this short hole play long?

Picture Perfect

Nature and the designer are in total unison here for the ultimate creation. Lay up off of the tee, but don’t be timid since the second shot is all carry to the target.

Yes, it is there in front of this postage stamp green! Just relax and put a good swing on it. Plenty of room in this “coffin corner.”

Vista Lane

Not only beautiful but friendly. Reachable in two after a strong tee shot. Approach shot can be deceptive due to a low background and creative contouring in the target area.
